Cat Rescue and Adoption Network (CRAN) is an all volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Since inception, we have saved over 4000 cats and found them wonderful, loving homes.
The Adoption Counselor works with potential adopters to ensure the cats in our care go to loving homes where they can thrive. As an Adoption Counselor, you will review adoption applications, review the accuracy of the information, and determine whether it is a good fit for both the family and the cat(s). Adoption Counselors generally review 5-6 applications a month and can be done remotely as it is mostly emails & phone calls.
This role can be really rewarding in that you are actively connecting cats with their forever homes. But it can also be difficult to say "no" when it's not a good fit.
If you're interested in learning more about this volunteer role or any other volunteer role in our organization, please review our website and submit a volunteer application online. We will follow-up with you in 3-5 days. To apply, please fill out our volunteer form here: https://catrescues.org/forms.
