MONDAYS NEIGHBORHOOD NATURE RESTORATION DAYS - COUNTY FARM PARK

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission

  • 1 person is interested

Get outside and make a difference this winter by joining Washtenaw County Park's Jonathan Parker for a hike and stewardship workday on the edge of the woods next to Fox Hollow Prairie in County Farm Park. We’ll be removing invasive shrubs, both to improve habitat and to open more expansive views of the prairie for park visitors to enjoy. As always, we will have snacks and water, tools and gloves. Please dress appropriately for the weather, and be prepared to get off trail on uneven ground. Meet neighbors and fellow nature enthusiasts, enjoy brisk exercise and behind-the-scenes exploration, and make a real difference in a beautiful Washtenaw park.
