We are a therapeutic riding barn and have a herd of calm therapy horses that require daily care. This role of Barn Volunteer is crucial to our operations and mission, and includes daily turn out of our horses, 3 sheep and 3 goats to paddocks, mucking of stalls and filling hay bags for lunch.
This is a great opportunity for someone interested in animals, animal care and being outdoors. Your hard work goes directly to supporting our mission.

No experience necessary. Will include lifting, bending. We need 2 volunteers per morning to clean stalls and help with turn out. .

Description
Ridgebury Riders is what we call our riders, regardless of age, experience, neuro-diversity or riding ability. Being a Ridgebury Rider means you have the ability to develop at your own pace, working with our instructors, therapists and specially selected therapy horses. Our goal is to provide life- changing opportunities regardless of ability to pay.
Volunteering or donating to Ridgebury Riders directly allows us to offer mounted Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy to children and adults with a variety of special needs, as well as therapeutic riding services regardless of their ability to pay.
