We are consistently receiving outreach from individuals who are trying to earn their GED and want to support them in any way possible that we can to help them reach their academic goals.

The demographic of this group consists of adults who need support with basic reading and math, in addition to teens who aspire to graduate early from high school. Some of them are also drop-outs who fell on hard times financially or just weren't able to focus during the pandemic due to experiencing technical challenges with online courses.

Your role would be to provide virtual support to students on a daily basis. You would set your own schedule and report your hours through a program called Clockify. You would also be required to communicate with your teammates and supervisor on Slack and possibly use Monday.com to update student progress and submit various reports relative to your volunteer responsibilities.

The service would be offered 24 hours a day, with you being required to be available online for a shift, just in case someone writes in to use the service. If you have questions about this opportunity, please send us an email at 312-256-6647.

About Rebecca Everlene Trust Company

PO Box 8357, Chicago, IL 60680, US

Mission Statement

To provide students and professionals with unique learning opportunities for projects that strengthen their skills, dampen educational deficiencies and/or meet requirements for earning community service hours, helping them matriculate through academic programs and for some, maintain employment.

Rebecca Everlene Trust Company was incorporated in 2012 and is a tribute to the owner’s grandmothers; Rebecca Spaulding and Everlene Chambers.

The company has retained its original focus of providing educational opportunities for students and has since expanded its services to include community service options for individuals alongside a host of other community support programs.
