Join California Climate Action Corps' Community Climate Action Day - San Diego, in collaboration with San Diego Audubon Society and UCSD Natural Reserve System's annual Love Your Wetlands Day!

This year, San Diego Audubon Society and UCSD Natural Reserve System are partnering with California Climate Action Corps, a program of California Volunteers, Office of the Governor! On top of being able to explore the marsh, community members will have the opportunity to serve in a climate action service project under one of our focus areas of urban greening, organic waste and edible food recovery, and wildfire resiliency.

We encourage volunteers to check-in as early as 8:00 a.m. before joining us for a speaking program, including Mayor Todd Gloria and California's Chief Service Officer Josh Fryday, starting at 9:00 a.m.! Volunteers will depart for their service projects at 9:30 a.m. and return after completing service project for a free lunch and entertainment at 12:30 p.m. The fun continues at the Love Your Wetlands Day family-friendly event until 4:00 p.m.
