At Children's Square, we have children who live on our campus 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. An essential part of our programming for these children is providing them with healthy, tasty, and complete meals during their stay. To help facilitate this, we are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can help improve, coordinate, and lead our food inventory management process.

This volunteer position will oversee our food inventory process and work with our Emergency Shelter and Residential Treatment programs to ensure we have the items needed to follow the meal plans provided by the nutritionist. As the Food Inventory Control Volunteer, you will do weekly inventory checks of the program pantries, work with the programs to ensure the correct items get ordered and take the lead on our food delivery reception and organizational distribution processes. This volunteer position is flexible and can work around the schedule of the individual volunteering their time. We project this opportunity to take between 3 and 6 hours per week, with the amount of time needed decreasing to 2 -4 hours per week after finding the right groove.

For more information, don't hesitate to get in touch with Jonathan Holland, Chief Program Officer, at 712-828-7438. We look forward to
