Volunteer-Led Organization

Since 1982, volunteers have led our organization, and they continue to do so today. An integral part of our team, volunteers play many roles from working with patients, families and pets to providing organizational direction as a member of our board of directors. Volunteers assist in fulfilling our mission and add great value to the experience of the patients and families we serve. We couldn’t do it without our volunteers and their generosity of time and spirit. Are you outgoing, involved in your community and want to make a difference?

Our presence is expanding in Okeechobee County and we need your help!

We are growing in Okeechobee County and need volunteers to help support and recruit other volunteers. As a marketing volunteer, you will help with the following:
  • Attend community events to represent Treasure Coast Hospice (set-up and manage a booth or table)
  • Participate in Treasure Coast Hospice-sponsored events in Okeechobee and the surrounding area
  • Visit local churches and communities to drop off marketing and recruiting materials to promote Treasure Coast Hospice
You must have your own reliable transportation and be available to visit various locations in Okeechobee County.
