As a virtual assistant, you may be responsible for many of the same tasks and duties as an administrative assistant, including responding to emails and phone calls, scheduling meetings, booking travel and accommodations, managing a contact list, preparing customer spreadsheets, and keeping online records, organizing calendars, and creating presentations as assigned. However, as a virtual assistant, you may not be physically present in the exact location of your clients or coworkers. Instead, you may communicate and collaborate with them remotely, using online tools and technologies.

Some specific responsibilities you may have as a virtual assistant may include:

  • Responding to emails and phone calls: You may be responsible for answering inquiries, forwarding messages to the appropriate parties, and taking notes as needed. You may use email, phone, or other communication tools to stay in touch with clients, customers, and team members.

  • Scheduling meetings: You may be responsible for coordinating the schedules of multiple individuals, reserving virtual meeting spaces or conference rooms, and sending out invitations to attendees. You may use calendar and scheduling software to keep track of appointments and meetings and ensure everyone's schedules are aligned.

  • Booking travel and accommodations: You may be responsible for arranging flights, hotels, and ground transportation for business trips. You may use travel websites or contact airlines, hotels, and other vendors directly to secure the best rates and availability.

  • Managing a contact list: You may be responsible for maintaining a database of contact information for clients, vendors, and other stakeholders. You may use a customer relationship management (CRM) system or other software to store and organize this information.

  • Preparing customer spreadsheets and keeping online records: You may be responsible for organizing and maintaining electronic records of customer data, including contact information, purchase history, and other relevant details. You may use spreadsheet software such as Excel or Google Sheets to organize and analyze data.

  • Organizing calendars: You may be responsible for scheduling appointments, meetings, and other events on the calendars of your managers or other team members. You may use calendar software to keep track of schedules and to avoid conflicts.

  • Creating presentations: You may be responsible for developing visual aids and other materials for meetings, presentations, and other events, using software such as PowerPoint or Google Slides. You may research and gather information, design slides and other materials, and rehearse presentations to ensure they are effective and engaging.

Mission Statement

We are a 501c3 Non-Profit community organization focused on spreading kindness from one to another.

Description

Our goal is to inspire and uplift others through small acts of kindness, known as #SMAK. #SMAK began as a movement of selfless actions, such as buying a coffee for the person in line behind you at the coffee shop. We aim to spread joy and kindness throughout the country through #SMAK. One of our signature events, #SMAKenger Hunt, is similar to a scavenger hunt, but with a #SMAK twist. Participants receive clues that lead them to various locations, where they can surprise others with a $5 gift card, spreading kindness and joy along the way.
