Food in the Hood
Hot meals and groceries for the hungry

Volunteers 4:45-8 pm

All individuals
Be sure you are healthy with no cough, respiratory issues, or fever. Please stay home if you are ill for your safety and the safety of others.

You will help guest choose their food items, weigh food, and help guest get their groceries to the pickup area for them to drive their car up so I can be loaded with your groceries

YOU ENTER THE BUILDING:
Enter door #1 (main door under the large awning)

We are looking for volunteers who can commit to an afternoon for a few months or long-term.

Distribution events on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month

Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes are necessary.

Good in the 'Hood is an twin cities based, partnering organization committed to initiating and sustaining focused acts of kindness as a means of inspiring neighborhood decency and personal transformation. We believe that goodness and kindness are change-agent qualities and it is our firm conviction that urban renewal will take place when a focused and contagious momentum of kindness is made manifest. Our desire is to inspire individuals, families and entire neighborhoods to take responsibility and ownership for the growth, improvement and well-being of their personal lives and community. Through partnerships and kindness-based initiatives we believe the physical, emotional and spiritual climate of an entire community can be changed for good.
