ORGANIZATION: Gentiva Hospice - Pueblo

We are searching for a full range of hospice volunteers to offer support to families and patients at end of life. This can be as small as delivering flowers at special occasions or as in depth as sitting with the patient to offer companionship, read a book together, share life stories or simply hold a hand. You must be 18 or older to provide direct care with patients and families. Please call with any questions on how to get started in your community today. Interns and volunteers are always needed within the Hospice community! This is also a rewarding opportunity for all involved!

We are also seeking Veterans as well to link with our World War II, Korea and Vietnam Veterans for socialization, companionship and to share stories.

Administrative and office volunteers are also needed, this includes helping with card preparation for mailings for patients, filing, and other tasks. Phone calls and other remote opportunities are available as well. (Does not have to be 18 and over for administrative and office tasks.)
