Tax season will be here soon, and United Way Bay Area is looking for volunteers for our Free Tax Help program. We will teach you everything you need to know! Help your Bay Area neighbors who can use the financial support to maximize their refunds, bringing back critical funds to the Bay Area.
We have multiple sites that could use volunteers: 81st Avenue Branch Library, Lion Creek Crossings, and the Asian Resource Center. (Mandarin-speakers, in particular, would be very helpful!)
Shift day and times are the following:
81st Avenue Branch Library: Tuesdays at 1-5pm or 3:30 - 7:30pm
Lion Creek Crossings / Asian Resource Center: Wednesdays or Thursdays at 1-5pm or 3:30 - 7:30pm
Volunteering involves a commitment of about 4 hours a week for 12 weeks. If you have some conflicts, please let us know - we'll try to work something out!
