ORGANIZATION: My Sister's House

  • 14 people are interested

Background

My Sister’s House is a nonprofit organization in Sacramento that serves survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, and sexual assault.

What we need

Volunteers are expected to have a mix of both video editing technical skills (e.g. capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound file, titling, adding music/voice-over/sfx, etc.) and creativity in the video production (i.e. different presenting styles and techniques).

What we have

We have Adobe Creative Cloud, which includes Adobe Animate, Character Animator, Illustrator Photoshop, etc. We can provide volunteers with the content material for the videos.

Why this is important

Viewers will be directed to resources to help inform and strengthen domestic violence intervention and prevention efforts at the individual and community levels. We want to highlight our 24/7 multilingual helpline, which provides a safe, confidential and anonymous domestic violence helpline that offers culturally appropriate support
