Woods Creek Kennel Attendant Volunteer
ORGANIZATION: MOTLEY ZOO ANIMAL RESCUE
Please visit the new page to apply.
This opportunity to be a kennel attendant at Woods Creek Kennels is for folks interested in learning about dog behavior, running a dog kennel and caring for foster dogs. These kennels are a part of our 501c3 non-profit fundraising program to help us cover the costs of our veterinary care of our rescues (average of $15,000 per month). Not only does this property serve as a source of fundraising for our rescues, but it also allows us the opportunity to establish our sanctuary and rescue animals that won't be adopted - so we can provide them with an amazing life where they are loved and can live out their days with the quality of life they deserve.

About MOTLEY ZOO ANIMAL RESCUE
16725 CLEVELAND ST, REDMOND, WA 98052, US
Motley Zoo Animal Rescue is dedicated to improving the lives of animals locally, nationally and internationally; alleviating their suffering and elevating their status in society through the rescue and rehabilitation of animals in need and through the education of their community on responsible pet ownership and animal welfare, advocating the value of all animal life, in hopes to end the neglect and abuse of all animals and to end the devastating pet overpopulation through spay and neuter advocacy.
Motley Zoo was founded in 2009 and has rescued and rehomed more than 3,330 animals since! More than 30% of the animals we take in are medical/ special needs and require many times the average cost of care. Round the clock care is provided by a network of foster homes- families just like yours who offer to care for one of our animals in their home until a forever family is found! We also have a Mission Center Studio in Redmond, WA where we offer services like dog daycare and training which not only help dog owners in the community, but also helps bring in much needed funds for the rescue. Motley Zoo spends on average, $15,000 per month on veterinary care- and are primarily funded by donations from individuals; people giving what they can. We also sell some great, fun animal loving apparel on our store, www.mzbehindtheseamz.com- where every item literally supports and animal in our care...and you can see which animal right in the description! In all, we're a one-of-a-kind organization that strives to empower YOU to rock rescue and save lives!
