Great Lakes Pigeon Rescue is looking for volunteers to help with our communications program!
We have several areas in which we are in need of help.
1. Any/all Facebook and Instagram messages except those pertaining to adoption applications.
2. Any/all emails except those pertaining to adoption applications:
a) Pigeon rescue help needed
b)Adoption inquiries (e.g., asking about bird care, how to apply to adopt)
c) Post-adoption coaching
This is a rewarding, pleasant opportunity to help pigeons. Your help is urgently needed!

Mission Statement
To save the lives of homeless domestic and non-releasable pigeons and doves in the Great Lakes region, who otherwise would face euthanasia or a slow death from lack of care, by providing foster homes, adoption services, medical treatment, and compassionate education about the need for pigeon and dove rescue.
Description
To address the absence of rescue and adoption services for pigeons and doves in the Great Lakes region. To enhance awareness of the suitability of rescued pigeons and doves as pets, especially as an alternative to the exotic pet trade. To advocate for pigeons and doves, and in doing so foster compassion for all living creatures.
