Are you an artist or musician? Can you color a sketchpad, sing a tune off-key, or play an instrument?
Hospice patients in the Indianapolis/Carmel area are desperate for volunteers, like you, to celebrate the joys of life through art and music. You do not need to be a professional, just someone who is willing to sit down with our patients and enjoy all that the art and music of life have to offer.
Your art, your music, your choice. Volunteers will be matched with patients based upon their own likes, hobbies, and preferences. Choose your own schedule with your matched patient!
Sound scary? Sound uncomfortable? It's not! Hospice patients are everyday folks looking to celebrate the joys of life with individuals like you. Bond, learn someone's life story, and share memories that will last a lifetime.
Contact Kelly Eby, Volunteer Coordinator, by call/text to 317-997-7525.

Mission Statement
This hospice provides an individualized program of physical, emotional, spiritual, and practical care for people in the last phases of a life-limiting illness, with an emphasis on control of pain and other symptoms. The program is reflective of a spirit and idea of caring that emphasizes comfort and dignity for the dying, making it possible for them to remain independent for as long as possible, and in familiar surroundings.
Description
Hospice care is centered on both the patient and family/caregiver. Hospice personnel respect and respond to the unique differences in family/caregiver, lifestyle, values, and wishes.
Utilizing an interdisciplinary group approach of physicians, nurses, social workers, homemakers, hospice aides, volunteers, spiritual counselors, bereavement counselors, and others, the hospice provides palliative care in the home, short-term inpatient services, mobilization and coordination of ancillary services, and bereavement support.
