Habitat for Humanity Sanford Area is seeking Committee members to assist with our efforts to build strength, stability, self reliance and shelter. Standing committees include Budget & Finance, Outreach & Faith Relations, ReStore Operations, Construction & Maintenance, Homeowner Selection and Homeowner Support. Time commitments vary, but typically less than 10 hours per month. Must be able to work well with diverse individuals.

Habitat for Humanity partners with the community to build and renovate decent, affordable housing. Homes are then sold to low income families with an affordable mortgage.
Description
Habitat for Humanity Sanford Area, NC is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a non-profit Christian housing organization. To date, Habitat for Humanity Sanford Area has built 35 decent, energy efficient, affordable houses and renovated four homes for low income families in Lee County. Our vision is to build a Habitat Village supporting up to 30 families and including a play area and community garden.
