ORGANIZATION: ST ANTHONYS OF MARATHON INC

St. Anthony's is looking for weekend hosts to help take care of our guests during retreats. Weekend hosts are in charge of hospitality - from greeting guests as they arrive to basic cleaning at the end of the retreat. We can work around your schedule as hosts can help for entire or partial events if need be, as well as split duties with another host if that works better. No experience needed, just enthusiasm!

Description

St. Anthony Spirituality Center is located in Marathon Wisconsin, on 40 acres of beautiful woods and grounds. Our building is over 100 years old. We were originally a house of studies for the Capuchins, although with the number of Capuchins dwindling, they turned St Anthony's into a retreat center. When the Capuchins closed the center, a group of lay people took over and changed the name from St Anthony Retreat Center to St Anthony Spirituality Center. We offer everything from private retreats to hosted groups to our own programming. The main focus is offering peace and tranquility to those who are searching for a deeper connection with their God.

  • Retreats go anywhere from day workshops to weekend plus. This job can be broken down into chunks of time if needed i.e. if someone can only work a weekend or a few days.
  • Our building is quite large and there is a lot of walking and climbing stairs involved.
