Creative Emajinations Day


Creative Emajinations story begins with its founder, Ophelia Brinkley, in 2019, whose mission is to provide every child with the opportunity to explore their imagination without limitations that will enable them to reach their fullest potential through the Arts. Creative Emajinations brings a creative inspiring and innovative approach to educational enrichment activities through the Arts.

Creative Emajinations strives to close the opportunity gap by limiting barriers to success and empowering its members to reach their fullest potential with the help of skilled volunteers, businesses and professionals.

The Mayor of the city of Kansas City Quinton Lucas proclaimed June 1st as Creative Emajinations Day and we are asking for your support to help us continue being a service to young people. While our impact is local we hope to soon be able to provide services to other cities and states that would benefit from our services and programs the most.
We get an average 10 to 25 requests per month for services currently we do not have a space of our own and have actively been providing direct service programming since 2019 to young people.
Individual and group performers have participated in over 15 performance opportunities since our incorporation in 2019.

Raise awareness

Will you go live on June 1st in support of Creative Emajinations Day in Kansas City together we can make a difference.
Creative Emajinations is searching for volunteers willing to support their support on Facebook, or Instagram (other acceptable social media channels) between May 28th and June 1st, 2023, to help raise awareness and support for a great cause by choosing Creative Emajinations as your nonprofit to support. There are several ways we plan to raise awareness this is just the few of many we hope that this will be a fun experience and engaging experience for you through the entire process.

Help create awareness beginning the week of May 28th celebrating June 1st it can be for one day, one week or one month.

• Share how your experience has impacted you as it relates to the organization mission?
• Are you a past intern or volunteer that would like to share your experience with others?
• In your words, why should someone give to this organization?
• Share a story-How has dance, performing, music or any arts experience impacted your life?
  
• Use your phone to capture a short video explaining something interesting about the organization.
• Share a live performance.

You pick the time and channel when and where you want to go live or support through fundraising or other option named above. You can do it from anywhere you have WIFI using a laptop, phone or similar electronic device. If you go live on Facebook scroll down the list of options and type Creative Emajinations as your non-profit to support.

Create a video or message with a call to action that communicates the next steps. Keep your call to action direct, for example, " Make a real difference today. Donate now through their web page by visiting www.ce816kids.org ."

A call to action will ultimately drive interested individuals to get involved.

The first 50 to sign up will receive a Creative Emajinations Day t-shirt.
