Divided We Fall(r) is about we, the people of these United States, creating a more perfect Union. We are working to build a media outlet that puts people before partisanship, but we cannot achieve this goal without dedicated volunteers!

1. JOB DESCRIPTION:

This volunteer opportunity requires candidates to be able to perform duties that include the following:

• Maintain the organization’s volunteer position descriptions
• Identify and pursue new sources of volunteers and candidates
• Interview and evaluate volunteer candidates for relevant experience and culture fit within the organization
• Lead onboarding and offboarding efforts for new and exiting volunteers

The Director of Human Capital will be part of our Human CapitalTeam and will collaborate with management to extend the tenure of and increase the quality of volunteers.

III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• Volunteer remote position (5-10 hours/week, flexible)
• Flexible deadlines/hours
• Reports to: Chief of Human Capital Officer

III. DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience as a recruiter and/or human resources specialist
• Ability to work independently
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of volunteer recruitment
