Do You Enjoy the Theater? Are You Interested in Helping Students Connect to Their Purpose? Come be a Volunteer Driver with Project Success!
Driver - Theater Experiences
Project Success partners with nearly 50 professional Twin Cities theaters that generously support our programming through the donation of tickets to their theater experiences. Project Success offers the theater experiences at no cost to students and their families on evenings and weekends and provides transportation for those who need it with the help of volunteer drivers. Volunteer drivers are critically needed to help Project Success increase access to the diverse and abundant theater opportunities within the Twin Cities for our students and families. For theater, drivers use their own vehicles to pick up students and families at their home, bring them to the theater, enjoy the show, and then drive them back home after the performance. Drivers choose which theater event or events they can support each month and receive two complementary tickets for each selected event.
Driver - Project Success Institute
We also have opportunities to be a volunteer driver for the Project Success Institute! The Project Success Institute is a place where Minneapolis high school students learn career and life skills. Monday-Thursday evening, students can take free classes in subjects including bike tech, financial literacy, cooking, and coding. As with all Project Success programming, we strive to meet any transportation needs so all interested students are able to participate. Institute Volunteer drivers pick up students at school 3 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. and bring students home between 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Volunteer drivers are an important part of the Institute, as they are the students’ first contact with Project Success, provide a safe space for students, and welcome them to the program. Drivers can use their own vehicle or drive a PS provided van. Drivers pick a weeknight, or multiple weeknights, that work for them and are welcome to stay for the class!

Mission Statement
Project Success motivates and inspires each student in every school we serve to dream about their futures, help them create a plan to get there, and give them the tools and support they need to achieve their goals.
Description
Project Success is a youth-development organization that works with students over the course of seven years - beginning in grade 6 and continuing through grade 12 - engaging them in-class through a facilitated curriculum and through local-to-global expeditions, arts programming, and skills-based certificates.
Curriculum: Our curriculum is delivered by professional facilitators through our in-class workshops and throughout all of the rest of our programming. Our proven methodology helps students dream, ignite and grow.
Arts: We utilize the power of theater and the arts to inspire, build community, act as a springboard for discussion and encourage students to tell their own stories.
Expeditions: Local and global expeditions allow students to see a part of the world they have never seen before, or see something familiar in a new way, building confidence and opening new doors for their futures.
Institute: Certificates in computer coding, financial literacy, performing arts and wellness ignite possibilities for students and prepare them for life after high school.
