Recruiting Organization: Alzheimer's Association, Greater Maryland Chapter

The Alzheimer's Association is looking for volunteers for a companion led study, to visit with people living with dementia through virtual visits, delivering activities that are personalized for the person living with dementia. This is a great opportunity for people who want to make an impact in their community and enjoy interacting one to one with people while delivering fun and engaging activities.

Aside from visiting with these amazing families, volunteer participants are also paid a monthly stipend. This is in addition to access to continued education, resources, and support through the Alzheimer's Association and Johns Hopkins University.

Please note that eligible volunteers must be 55+ and live within the state of Maryland, in one of the following counties:

Allegany, Anne Arundel, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Caroline, Cecil, Dorchester, Frederick, Garrett, Harford, Howard, Kent, Queen Anne's, Somerset, Talbot, Washington, Wicomico, or Worcester.
