Do you have a mental health condition, or do you have a loved one with a mental health condition? Has faith been a component on you or your loved one's journey?

Are you answering yes to all of these questions? Then you are in the right place!

FaithNet is a component of NAMI that has faith-based programming. Programming may occur in local faith-based organizations or virtually via Zoom. We currently have support groups and classes meeting in churches and we are looking for facilitators and educators. No experience is necessary, we will train you!

More about FaithNet Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Lead faith-based recovery groups and classes at various church or faith centers across Delaware, Morrow, and Union Counties.
  • Groups involve two leaders.
  • Group commitment varies depending on needs of the organization and participants, typically one time per month.
  • Weekend training is required.
NAMI, The National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. NAMI started with a small group of families in 1979 and has grown to include more than 500 local affiliates. NAMI Mid-Ohio is one of those affiliates and we provide support groups, classes and presentations focused on decreasing the stigma of mental illness and increasing positive mental health awareness.
