Description
Brighton Hospice was founded in 2012 in Salt Lake City, Utah by our two owners, Erin Bennett and Thomas Godfrey, who were both involved in the world of home health and hospice. They had experience working for amazing companies, as well as for companies that were lacking. When they decided to start Brighton Hospice, their experiences at both ends of the spectrum played a huge role in forming the company. They joined forces to bridge the gap and set out to provide the highest quality of care in the industry. Brighton’s mission statement, developed prior to the company’s creation, served as their road map from day one. We are always guided by our commitment to excellence and our goal is simple: we are dedicated to providing outstanding customer service. The culture at Brighton helps us accomplish that by ensuring that staff feel happy and appreciated, which is then reflected in the care they provide. Additionally, the Brighton philosophy of care is to keep the caseloads way lower than most other hospices in order to prevent healthcare burnout. This allows the care team the time they need provide the best care to patients, which is one of the main reasons for our exemplary reputation in the industry. Lastly, we are proud of our Brighton Blessings program which exemplifies our commitment to going above and beyond for those facing life limiting illnesses.
