Much more than an after-school program, Neighborhood Homework House is a learning center that brings hope and encouragement to the children of Azusa. How? By providing a welcoming, safe haven where children are encouraged to reach for their dreams and are equipped with the tools to realize them. We accomplish this by investing in each child through small group tutoring, enrichment activities and building lasting mentoring relationships that span their childhood and teen years. Kinder-12th Program Between the months of September-May, we are looking for tutors to provide homework assistance to the same student(s) once or twice a week for 2 hour sessions. Tutors choose tutoring sessions based on their availability and desired age group.
