Weekly Saturday Volunteer Opportunities at Global Refuge Thrift Store

Come and serve in our thrift store as we share the love of Jesus and provide gently used clothing to our community and in foreign Missions to Sierra Leone, Africa.

We are recruiting volunteers to sort, hang and store clothing, straighten and replenish clothing racks, and assist customers on Saturdays. Please reach out to us if you have questions or you can volunteer for other hours on Saturdays. We will also be offering weekday volunteer shifts, but Saturdays are our top priority.

Also, If your interest is in fulfilling "court community service hours", please let us know upfront in your communications of your needs.

One of our budding Ministries is Global Refuge Thrift Store. We are in the beginning stages of forming a Community Thrift Store to bring low-cost, quality clothing to our local community and our Friends in Sierra Leone, West Africa, and to meet their spiritual needs and share the love of Jesus as we serve.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 18
  • Orientation or Training
  • We would love friendly volunteers to help out on a regular basis. A few hours a week will go a long way to help us grow! Regular volunteers will enable us to potentially open more weekdays for our community.
  • close-toed shoes, dress in cool clothing, and orientation is required. Court community service hours have different requirements. Please communicate upfront this need.
