We are currently seeking a seasonal volunteer to assume the role of Co-Local Program Manager or Fundraising Manager to help the Local Program Team organize and coordinate special events and fundraisers to promote the SOOR athletes in our SOOR Washington County Local Program.
This volunteer role consists in helping with a variety of the following tasks:
- coordinate sports competitions and events
- maintain updated records
- communicate with families
- outreach to the community
- follow-up communication
- raise funds
- and more!
We most need help with our Winter Sports Season right now, but if you enjoy your role or want to help with other areas, there is opportunity for growth moving into our upcoming Summer and Fall Sports seasons as well.
- Winter (Jan - March)
- Summer (May - July)
- Athletics - Track & Field
- Fall (Sept - Nov)

Special Olympics Oregon provides year-round opportunities for children and adults with Intellectual Disabilities to participate in sports training and competition. All Special Olympics coaches, assistant coaches and management members are volunteers.
