Assist our therapeutic recreation team with taking residents out for fun and engaging activities. Volunteers will ride along with staff and residents on our mini-bus to activities such as shopping, museums, bowling, restaurants, and more! Help push wheelchairs and assist with other tasks while having fun and interacting with our wonderful residents. Outings generally occur on weekdays in the mornings and afternoons.

Description
Lyngblomsten provides compassionate care to older adults through residential and community services. Volunteers of all ages are welcomed to explore over 100 unique and varied opportunities. While short-term options may be available periodically, we encourage longer-term commitments given the exceptional level of orientation, training and on-going education Lyngblomsten provides in support of its volunteers.
