If you are searching for a way to make a difference in the lives of others, You Belong Here! Hospice volunteers are a valuable part of our care team. Based on your interests and preferences, you will receive specific volunteer training to help improve the quality of life for others.

Engage with patients through any of the following:

  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Provide a listening ear.
  • Encourage them to share life experiences.
  • Play games (cards, board games, etc.)
  • Watch TV with patients.
  • Read to patients.
  • Sing/play an instrument to patients.

You choose how you want to serve and how often.

No medical experience is needed as volunteers DO NOT perform nursing duties or dispense medication. The patients you will support are in your community.

COVID vaccinations are no longer required.
