If you are searching for a way to make a difference in the lives of others, You Belong Here! Hospice volunteers are a valuable part of our care team. Based on your interests and preferences, you will receive specific volunteer training to help improve the quality of life for others.

We may like to provide your services as a beautician, barber services, handymen, someone to provide light housework, run errands or just sit and talk. To avoid caregiver burn out, you may volunteer to sit with a patient so their loved one can take short breaks. Volunteers DO NOT provide any hands-on care (such as changing a diaper, dispensing medications, etc.) You will only provide companionship and socialization.

In order to comply with the State of California's COVID requirements, all volunteers must be fully vaccinated and booster (proof required) with no testing requirements. Our volunteers are carefully vetted and undergo comprehensive training to learn about the hospice philosophy, relating to your experiences and how to best contribute to care.
