Right now, students across Massachusetts are hard at work in their STEM classes coding apps, designing manufacturing processes, researching medical innovations, and much more. Students need your professional expertise to help make their projects better, and to understand how they’ll use the skills they’re building in future careers.

Mass STEM Hub’s Student Industry Connects program is a virtual volunteer opportunity for you to support the next generation of STEM professionals

  • Why: Getting input from "real pros" (as one student put it) helps students sharpen their technical and professional skills, and offers priceless encouragement and motivation
  • What: Provide written feedback on middle and high school students’ STEM projects online
  • Time commitment: ~3 hours on your schedule
  • When: Between February 8-17, 2023

Here’s what one high school students said about submitting their work to Student Industry Connects:

"We really liked receiving feedback from someone who knows the industry, as opposed to a teacher or another student. It was nice to know how our work could have been applied in the 'real world’ and not just as an assignment for a grade."
