Break Bread is a Littleton-based nonprofit that's mission is reducing hunger and building relationships within our community through free meals and programs that provide nourishment and friendship. We are always looking for volunteers to join us for our meal service on Wednesday and Saturday evenings during which time we are joined by neighbors combating food insecurity, illness, isolation, and other life challenges. To serve in one of our many volunteer roles, please contact us at community@break-bread.org or contact us through VolunteerMatch for more information.

Mission Statement

Break Bread's mission is reducing hunger and building relationships within our community through free meals and programs that provide nourishment and friendship.

Description

Break Bread was founded in 2017 when some neighbors saw a true need to help build community among our neighbors who were experiencing isolation, homelessness and myriad other tough times. We offer a free meal where people of all walks of life join around a table, sharing whatever they wish to share with each other while enjoying a healthy, nourishing meal. We also seek to empower our neighbors through various educational opportunities.
