Shifts overlap. You can customize your hours and we ask for a minimum of 2 hours on any given day you volunteer. We prepare food and hygiene bags for the community and we off grocery supply to members of the community who can support a grocery delivery or pickup. Monday 12p to 4p bag prep. Tues/Thurs 12p to 4p distribution Fri open hours 9am to 1pm -for bag prep. Sat 2p to 6p for delivery.
Masks provided and required while indoors

  • morning / 09:00 AM to 01:00 PM
    Open pantry, prep gab n go bags, organize inventory
  • afternoon / 12:00 PM to 04:00 PM
    Bag prep, delivery assistance, logs
  • evening / 02:00 PM to 06:00 PM
    Clean up delivery assistance bag prep

Our mission is to build health equity and access in underserved communities. Help From Hattie partners with local organizations to bring resources to people most in need. We address community health, chronic illness and STIs, and nutritional insecurity. We deliver every service and honor every partnership with diversity, equity, and inclusion, every voice that needs to be heard.

Description

At Help From Hattie, we engage with community members to assess needs and provide the services and items they need to achieve optimal living. We conduct community health assessment days, fairs, and family fun events like bowling, relays, and community meals. We need assistance making posters, filling nags with supplies for the public, sign-in sheets, and any social media savvy folks to spread the word about our work. If you love people and want to have a great time join our team.
