Irvine Nature Center is a non-profit educational organization that offers programs of environmental studies and natural science to children and adults of the greater Baltimore area. Our mission is to educate and inspire current and future generations to explore, respect and protect nature.

Volunteer Position Description:

Tales & Tails is a free toddler story time and animal encounter intended to welcome members of the community to engage with Irvine and with nature. Volunteer will help Irvine staff with setting up, greeting visitors, and supporting the story time leader.

Position Responsibilities:

• Greet guests
• Setup indoor or outdoor space for large group
• Assist with crowd control

Qualifications:

• Reliability
• Child-friendly demeanor
• Interest in early childhood and/or animals

Hours:

• Fridays, 10:30am - 12:30pm
