We are always following all CDC guidelines.
We are needing volunteers for the Christmas season and beyond.
Volunteer opportunities include:
Rainbow's Kind Hearts food Pantry deliveries( Vehicle Required )
Clothing Drives
Private Fundraisers
Work directly with the HIV Prevention Department
Work directly with the Senior Department( Senior lunches, Get togethers, Jazz night, Movie night, etc.)
Community Traditional Special Events: World Aids Day, Transgender Day of Remembrance, Day of the Dead, Cinco de Mayo, Pride!!
Maintenance: nothing to hard, usually putting together Ikea furniture or transporting folding chairs, Moving folding tables and chairs
WE REALLY DO NEED VOLUNTEERS IN THIS AREA. VOLUNTEERING FOR EVENTS IS FUN BUT THIS IS WHERE WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP. YOU WILL BE HELPING TREMENDOUSLY WITH THESE TASKS THAT NO ONE WANTS TO DO. IT IS ONLY A COUPLE OF HOURS OF YOUR DAY, FOR JUST ONE DAY. ALSO THE MORE VOLUNTEERS WE HAVE, THE MORE PEOPLE WE CAN HELP IN THE COMMUNITY.
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT WHEN YOU VOLUNTEER, YOUR HOURS TRANSLATE INTO GRANTS AND FUNDING FOR THE RAINBOW COMMUNITY CENTER. YOU ARE DIRECTLY HELPING THE COMMUNITY AND RAINBOW JUST BY VOLUNTEERING!
