ORGANIZATION: 2LEAF PRESS INC

2Leaf Press (https://2leafpress.org), a Black/Brown female-led nonprofit press in New York distributed by University of Chicago Press, is seeking four editors to work on four book projects, which will publish in April 2023.

Must have experience analyzing and editing copy, with familiarity with Chicago Manual of Style. Editors will receive credit in the book and all promotional materials, as appropriate. Must be deadline oriented. Previous experience desired; please specify your specialty. Will work directly with the publisher/

Mission Statement

2Leaf Press’ mission is to publish multigenerational and multicultural poets, authors, artists, activists and scholars who communicate stories and ideas that inform, entertain, educate, inspire, and connect to readers everywhere. The press is also committed to expanding its publication of books with multimedia projects such as videos, apps, audiobooks and by any other means that will engage and excite our readers. We remain dedicated to publishing works that challenge social justice issues with poetry and nonfiction works. We will also continue to manage and make available phati’tude Literary Magazine, as well.

2Leaf Press, founded in 2012, is a Florida-based 501(c)(3) Black/Brown female-led nonprofit press that publishes multicultural literature. Our books promote cultural awareness, encourage social change, and champion social justice through powerful multimedia storytelling. Our goal is to foster a universal passion for reading with our multicultural poets, authors, artists, activists, and scholars who communicate stories and ideas that inform, entertain, educate, inspire, and connect them to readers worldwide.
