The Association for Individual Development is in need of volunteers willing to perform general reception and clerical duties in it's Elgin Community Day Program office.

Weekday daytime volunteers are needed between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., and we ask all volunteers to commit to a minimum of one, 4 hour volunteer shift a week OR, volunteers can be on call on an as needed basis.

Description

For over 50 years, the Association for Individual Development (AID) has provided services to individuals who have developmental, physical, and/or mental disabilities, those who have suffered trauma or those at risk.

All clients have access to vital, life enriching services including: early intervention; developmental therapy; autism programs; audiology; respite care; permanent affordable housing; developmental and vocational training; job placement and on-the-job coaching services; crisis intervention; community education and advocacy.
