This year, we again have 4 separate Chapter competitions to take care of our 450 middle school students coming to our MATHCOUNTS competitions, our Northwest, South, Central Santa Clara Valley, and also our Fremont Chapters all need your help.
You and / or your group can sign up for one or several of these competitions -- each will take place on a Saturday morning and early afternoon, you can volunteer for one phase of the day or all day, please let us know which one(s) you can join in on as follows:

We need volunteers to assist in various tasks on each of these days of the competitions, focused on proctoring and scoring for the exam.
Help our students learn!
Groups: Great opportunity for volunteer groups--up to 10 from a source (high school service clubs, good opportunity). If you have a group, we would like to have a leader from your group take charge for your group to do this task. Contact us for more info.

The mission of MATHCOUNTS is to increase enthusiasm for and enhance achievement in middle school mathematics throughout the United States.
Description
MATHCOUNTS(r) is a national math enrichment, coaching and competition program that promotes middle school mathematics achievement through grassroots involvement in every U.S. state and territory. With over 35 years experience, MATHCOUNTS is one of the most successful education partnerships involving volunteers, educators, industry sponsors, and students.
For the 2021 Competitions, we have gone online, we are anticipating returning to "live" competitions in February 2022, hope to have you help us then.

- Must be at least 14
- Proctoring: 8:15 am through 12: 30 pm Sat Feb 1st or 8th or 15 or 22 (Cupertino , Saratoga High, or Harker, or Fremont sites, see above)
- We also will need graders on these same days 9 am through 2:30 pm, and help with serving the lunch (10 am to 1:30 pm) Let us know if you have a task that you have experience or interest in.
