Games for Love is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that works to ease suffering, save lives, and create sustainable futures for children. We believe in the concept of "distraction therapy" and bring the joy of gaming into the lives of our junior gamers in hospitals around the country. We plan to help 10 million kids in the next 5 years. We have a healthy ecosystem to achieve that goal with your intelligent contribution.

We are seeking a Recruiting Team Lead to co-lead our People and Culture team. You will be responsible for working with the GFL recruiters and also leading and motivating the team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and engaged.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage the recruiters who are responsible for qualifying and matching candidates to GFL defined roles and specific open requisitions
  2. Lead team and contribute individually in developing recruiting specifications with team leads, including facilitating the recruiting strategy
  3. Handle performance management, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and counseling for recruiting team members
  4. Be responsible for the full Recruiting cycle on assigned requisitions
  5. Qualify potential candidates via email, Google Meet, and phone
  6. Manage overall data integrity within applicant tracking system, ensuring team’s timely entry within the database to ensure accurate reporting to leadership
  7. Coach/Mentor and counsel the recruiting team - providing encouragement, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks
  8. Attend GFL leadership meetings to share People & Culture updates, and represent team strategies, and ensure the recruiting team is meeting the needs of the organization
  9. Conduct team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations from GFL leadership

Requirements

  1. Able to donate approx.10 hrs. a week.
  2. Proven ability to attract, lead, motivate and inspire a team of recruiting associates
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  4. Proven ability to partner, influence, and create trust-based, value-added relationships
  5. Strong understanding of requisition and sourcing processes
  6. Proficient in Google Suite
  7. Experience with ATS and resume databases
  8. Experience with Discord and Get Connected is a plus
