BECOME A MENTOR with Million Little!
Help Us Transform Lives Through The Power Of Creativity!
Million Little is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that, through the power of creativity, empowers and supports the healing process of youth who have experienced trauma.
Our Mentorship Program supports transitional age youth (ages 16-25) gain creative skills that will help them pursue a career of their choice based on their talents and interests! As a mentor you can empower youth in our community to make positive life choices that enable them to maximize their fullest potential and see the world from a whole new lens!
Being a mentor is for you if are:
- Passionate about amplifying youth voices
- Dedicated to helping young people break down barriers of systemic oppression
- Excited about the healing power of the arts and the strengths of our youth
As a mentor you might:
- Help youth explore career opportunities
- Assist youth in searching /applying for jobs
- Support with resume writing
- Provide input on creative projects
- Share lessons learned from your career thus far
Join our team as we continue to support and uplift Juvenile Justice and systems involved youth ages 16-25, to be seen and heard, while they explore self expression that leads them to realize their full potential!
Mentorship opportunity & requirements:
Duration: Minimum 3 month commitment required
Frequency: Minimum 1 hour per week
Location: United States: hybrid/ virtual
Requirements:
- Weekly expectation of engagement with mentee - minimum 1 hour per week
- Professional experience in a creative industry is a plus
- We value lived experiences similar to the population we serve

Million Little delivers therapeutic arts programming, youth resources, educational workshops and trainings as a means to support the healthy social and emotional development and healing process of at-risk children and families in Los Angeles County and beyond.
