Purpose: To provide community outreach and engagement strengthening the branding & awareness of programs offered by the I-HOPE WBC.
Responsibilities and Duties: Volunteers will staff community outreach events and answer questions, and promote services offered through the Women’s Business Center. Volunteers will also create and craft promotional messaging for social media and newsletters. In addition, volunteers will assist with the set-up of events and programs offered by the I-HOPE WBC.
Qualifications: Must have a powerful desire and passion to serve the community and underserved small businesses. Experience in special events, community outreach, public speaking and organizational skills highly desired. Relationship building, proficiency in positivity and high energy bonus. Must be able to pass background checks in a sex offender search. The qualifications provided above represent the minimum required skills. Additional qualifications may be desired for select mentoring and coaching roles.
Commitment Expected: Ambassadors will be invited to attend informational programs to learn about the WBC. Community Outreach events are between 2-6 hours on average.
Training: Attendance is required for the Volunteer Orientation. Ongoing training opportunities will be provided.

Description
Increasing H.O.P.E offers educational training, seminars, conferences on financial literacy and money management principles. The focus is on equipping individuals with the information necessary to make wise money-management decisions. The Increasing H.O.P.E Financial Literacy Training Program will teach and train low and moderate income individuals on how to implement money management skills and strategies. This training will improve financial literacy among individuals of all ages.
