If you are searching for a way to make a difference in the lives of others, You Belong Here! Hospice volunteers are a valuable part of our care team. Based on your interests and preferences, you will receive specific volunteer training to help improve the quality of life for others.

  • Engage with our hospice patients through any of the following:
    • Provide companionship and emotional support.
    • Provide a listening ear.
    • Encourage them to share life experiences.
    • Play games (cards, board games, etc.)
    • Watch TV with them.
    • Read to them.
    • Sing/play an instrument to them.
No medical experience needed. Volunteers DO NOT provide any hands-on care (such as changing a diaper, dispensing medications, etc.) You will only provide companionship and socialization. The patients you will serve are in your community.
