Recruiting Organization: New England Justice for Our Neighbors

New England Justice for Our Neighbors (NEJFON) is a 10-year-old immigration legal services organization serving most of Massachusetts. Our clients include asylum seekers, undocumented minors, and victims of violence. We currently provide free legal consults and legal representation to approximately 120 low-income clients each year.

In the past year, we have strengthened our infrastructure and started to re-envision our future. A key element to our success will be the recruitment of several new Board members, who will have a real opportunity to shape the organization. At this time, we are particularly seeking Board members with one or more of the following skills/experience:

Immigration and non-immigration law ✱ Fundraising/marketing ✱ HR ✱ Strategic planning

We encourage candidates throughout Massachusetts both with and without Board experience to apply. All candidates are very welcome, including those with lived experiences similar to those of our clients.
