High Schoolers! Looking for somewhere fun and engaging to volunteer for the holidays? We're currently seeking high school volunteers, aged 15-18, to help us with our busy holiday season. (If you're an adult interested in volunteering, we have those opportunities on our website: thetech.org/volunteer ).
We're asking that volunteers choose at least 5 days to volunteer between December 23rd, 2023 - January 7th, 2024. Shift times are morning (9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.), afternoon (12:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.) or full day.
Curious about what you could be doing? You could be greeting guests as they enter The Tech Interactive, helping take tickets and sharing information about our amazing IMAX films, teaching others about social robots, or even inspiring the next astronaut by operating our jet-pack chair!
If you have a passion for STEM and enjoy talking to others, this is the place for you! You don't need any prior science or technology knowledge to volunteer with us, and you'll receive hands-on training. You'll also attend an orientation mid-December.

Description
The Tech Interactive is a world class science and technology center in the heart of the Silicon Valley that welcomes over 250,000 visitors a year. Visitors are encouraged to explore the 130,000 square feet of hands-on activities, exploratory labs and design challenge experiences as well as interactive exhibits on climate change, robotics, innovations in healthcare, cybersecurity and more. The center is also home to the largest IMAX Dome Theater on the West Coast, offering educational films and the occasional Hollywood blockbuster.
