The Secretary of Nation of Diversity is responsible for maintaining accurate records, ensuring smooth communication within the organization, and supporting the overall efficiency of board operations. This role is essential in upholding transparency, organization, and effective governance to further our mission of reducing homelessness and promoting mental health awareness through creative arts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record, distribute, and maintain minutes of board meetings, ensuring all decisions and discussions are properly documented.
  • Maintain official organization records, including bylaws, policies, and key documents.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to board governance.
  • Manage board meeting schedules, agendas, and logistics.
  • Facilitate clear communication among board members, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing official correspondence, reports, and documentation for grant applications or fundraising efforts.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for important organizational records.
