Do you believe in the hospice philosophy but are not sure that direct patient care is your calling? Are you reliable, self motivated, quick learning and willing to share 4 or more hours per week of your most valuable asset...YOUR PRECIOUS TIME? If the answer is YES, we would LOVE to add you to our Office Support Team working along side of our fabulous Bereavement Team volunteer at our Austin Office!

You would be helping us support those that care directly for our hospice patients by assisting our Bereavement Coordinator with mailings during our normal office hours Monday thru Friday 8am - 5pm.

Orientation, training, background check, tb test, drug screen are required but are provided at no cost to the volunteer.

Description

Silverado Hospice goal is to maximize the quality of life through exceptional care and unmatched service. We provide world class care for all terminal diagnoses, 24 hour customer care support, unique programs (Memory Catchers and Essential Oils), as well as pre-bereavement and 13 month post-bereavement support. We go to wherever the patient calls "HOME" serving the entire Dallas/Fort Worth Area without regard to race, color, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, disability (physical or mental), communicable disease, or place of national origin.
