Winter Wonderland # 1 12/09 1:15PM-5:15PM
QUICK OVERVIEW
Bring the holidays to families transitioning out of homelessness! You'll start off at our Main Campus, where you'll pick out and wrap toys for our families. You'll then pack up those gifts in your car and deliver them to our Chavez site, where you'll also lead holiday crafts and games for the kids. (Santa will also be on-site, should you need to make any last-minute gift requests!)
IMPACT
Let's face it - the holidays are expensive and families transitioning out of homelessness may not have all the resources needed to make the holidays special. By lending us a hand with delivering toys and engaging in fun activities, you can help make the holidays a joyful time for our families.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have own vehicle.
Be able to take two bags with gifts to the site.
Be able to lift 25 pounds
Wear closed-toe shoes
Must have parent or guardian accompanying them if under 18 years old.
Love holiday music
Must not have received LA family housing services for a year.
