ORGANIZATION: MemorialCare Hospice & Palliative Services

Volunteers play an important role in serving the patients and families of MemorialCare Hospice & Palliative Services. One of the ways they share their time, talent and compassion is by assisting in the office. We are in need of a couple of lightly computer literate individuals to help out for about 2 hours every week. Days and times are flexible.

Standard COVID vaccine requirements as well as complete a physical with drug test and associated lab work, TB test & flu shot annually, all of which are coordinated through Memorial Care Employee Health.

Description

Volunteers play an important role in serving the patients and families of MemorialCare Hospice & Palliative Services. Our program offers many opportunities for you to share your time, talents, and compassion. There are so many areas to serve. You can work directly with hospice & palliative patients and their families or assist behind the scenes at our office. Our volunteers provide companionship, give respite to family members and caretakers, shop, run errands, haircut (licensed) services, pet therapy visits, read to a patient, play a game, write a letter, play or enjoy music. Let's talk about the many ways you can help make a difference!
