We are looking for a motivated person to inspire young people through dance at our partnering school or organization to grades k-5 and 6-8. The ideal candidate should have basic dance skills and or be knowledgeable in the area in which you will be instructing. If you have previous experience in dance or choreography, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful person will be able to work with a group of diverse ages and abilities.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- professional appearance
- has experience and enjoys working with kids
- has reliable transportation
- hours are weekdays, primarily after school hours
- A commitment to work an entire 10 weeks as needed to be considered
- Retirees
- College Students
- Former Teachers
- Individuals that enjoy working with youth
No past dance experience is necessary to volunteer. We provide background checks and training.
