At Alzheimer's Association, we strive to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

We are looking for volunteers to help us with scheduling and delivering prepared Association education programs on a variety of care and support topics presentations utilizing personal networks and conducting outreach to potential community partners.

We have a current high priority need for bilingual Spanish-speaking volunteers. If this is you, this is a plus!

Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated individual that is comfortable reaching out to individuals, organizations, and personal networks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent technology skills and comfort delivering programs independently.
  • Ability to network and collaborate with staff, volunteers, and community partners.
  • Passionate about the Alzheimer's Association mission with personal or professional experience with dementia preferred.
Commitment expected: Commit to a 1-year term with a minimum of 12 presentations annually.

All program volunteers participate in initial training and ongoing education and must comply with Alzheimer's Association volunteer policies and procedures.
