Mission Statement
Rcoz.is a California 501(3)c nonprofit organization. It is a new, open platform that connects the community via short video stories. We are on a mission to build an engaged and resource-filled community through personal video stories. We address issues around mental resilience, isolation, loneliness, and other hardships by connecting people who are experiencing similar challenges and life experiences. As a result, we hope people will feel that they are heard and realize that they are not alone in their struggles.
Description
We are connecting individuals who ordinarily do not meet. Everyone has a lot to contribute through their stories of life experiences. Each individual doesn’t have to be famous or highly successful. Rcoz provides a platform that helps bridge the gap between these people to reduce social and emotional isolation in society. It is a way to relate and empathize with each other when other support is not accessible or when it is hard to verbalize what one is going through. Connecting and storytelling will help these individuals relate to each other and hopefully create an everlasting change in our community.
